Short Message Service or popularly known as SMS is probably the most used feature of mobile phones next to making calls. SMS is by far the most widely used data application in the world. Today some phone users just can not live without SMS. In Sri Lanka there are several mobile network operators and all of them allow sending and receiving SMS. With the rapid growth of the internet, it has also become very popular to send SMS thru the internet with the use of GSM networks. However the length of an SMS is limited; which is normally 160 characters. If you type more the SMS will generally be split into several SMSs. Due to this limit, SMS language has been different language we use.  The aim in the SMS language is to express more in less characters. For instance "you" may be replaced with just "u" in an SMS. Cost of sending SMS is also rapidly reducing and it is really cheap in Sri Lankan compared to many Asian cuntries. Here we provide you a tool which may be used to send SMS to among local mobile network operators.
